To help alleviate health-care costs, Giant Food, Stop & Shop, and Publix are allowing anybody to take prescriptions (new ones and refils) into one of their in-store pharmacies and recive free of charge up to a 14-day supply of select generic antibiotics, regardless of insurance provider. The list of 10 eligible drugs includes common ones, like amoxicillin, cephalexin, ciprofloxacin, erythromycin, and penicillin.
