Finding a job that provides flexible hours and time to pursue non-work related ventures can sometimes feel like an impossible feat. But, it might not be quite as hard as you think. Recently, many large corporations have started offering work-from-home positions, giving employees the chance to have a commute-free career., a job site focused on telecommuting positions, rounded up 10 companies hiring work-from-home employees that offer unlimited paid time off. Some companies even have a required number of vacation days, which can help combat the issue of employees not taking advantage of these unlimited policies. At these companies, you can not only work from your own bedroom, but you can also take as many days off as you see fit—with no penalty.

1. Project, Business Manager at Apsis Labs
Employees at Apsis Labs must take a minimum of three weeks off per year. The company also offers “unlimited parental leave (with a one-month minimum), a paid annual social retreat that includes employees’ partners and families, and a coworking space reimbursement for remote workers of up to $300 per month.”

2. Digital Marketing Specialist at Articulate
Articulate gives employees unlimited time off in effort to encourage them “to develop autonomy, mastery, and purpose in their work.”

Sometimes it can be hard to get as much work done without being a typical office setting—one of the downfalls of working remotely. To combat this, provides remote workers with hardware assistance and a stipend to set up a remote office. Github, a software development platform, says it is “committed to keeping Hubbers healthy, motivated, focused and creative,” and it offers unlimited time off to help.

5. Backend Java Developer at Bonfire
Employees receive Apple devices and a competitive compensation package, in addition to unlimited vacation time.

As part of its pitch to potential new employees, MWI says, "We’re different than anywhere else you’ve worked. Good pay, unlimited vacation, no set work hours, work from home or anywhere in the world, full payment of premiums for health benefits—these are givens."

7. Frontend Mentor at Bloc
“Bloc is making the old apprenticeship model new again, with perks like unlimited time and remote work for its mentor employees.”

8. Email Marketing Strategist at Email Aptitude
“On its list of employee benefits, the ‘marketing and technology nerds’ at Email Aptitude offer unlimited vacation days, ‘baby bucks’ for new parents, ‘cool’ technology, and ‘exciting company trips,’ alongside more traditional benefits like a 401k with company match, health and dental insurance, and more.”

This California-based company offers unlimited vacation days, as well as remote working opportunities.

10. Affiliate Marketing Lead at Elite SEM
In addition to unlimited vacation, Elite SEM also offers flexible schedules, four months of paid maternity leave, and educational stipends.
