Graduating college is a huge transition in anyone’s life—gone are the ultra-scheduled days of studies, grades, and exams. And while a degree is a huge accomplishment and graduation should certainly be a time to celebrate and reflect, many grads are also faced with a new harsh reality: an exhausting job hunt.

While passion and interests have a lot to do with where a grad will choose to start working after school, there’s a lot more to it than that. Competition for jobs is incredibly high—The National Center for Education Statistics estimate that 1.8 million students will graduate with a bachelor’s degree this year—and that’s just undergrads!
