According to Google.
When it comes to baby names, there are an overwhelming number of options to consider, which explains why so many parents-to-be turn to Google to search for the perfect name for their little ones.
However, what they look up versus what they end up choosing are definitely different. Though this list doesn’t quite match the most popular baby names of the year, five girls’ names (Isabella, Olivia, Ava, Emily, and Mia) and seven boys’ names (James, Michael, Jacob, William Noah, Liam, and Ethan) do appear on both lists.
Many recent celebrity baby names, like Lauren Conrad’s (Liam) and George and Amal Clooney’s (Ella and Alexander) classic picks, also made the list, alongside gender-neutral picks like Noah, Avery, Jordan, and more, which continue to rise in popularity.
