Madame Tussauds London unveiled a special version of the group’s wax figures today, and each member of the family is featured wearing a very festive—and somewhat tacky—Christmas sweater. And while we’re loving Harry’s penguin-adorned knit as well as the Queen’s piece that’s embroidered with an image of one of her beloved corgi dogs, we can’t get over the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in their shared ugly number. The only thing missing from the scene is the adorable faces of Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The exhibit is all in good (and charitable) fun. The royal family gave permission for Madame Tussauds to dress their wax figures in holiday-inspired jumpers as part of the Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day campaign, which takes place on December 16.
Does this mean we’ll see the group rocking ugly Christmas sweaters in real life? We can only hope.
The holiday edition of the royal wax figures will be on view for the rest of December at Madame Tussauds London—selfies strongly encouraged.
