While much as been written about our presidents over the years, there is still so little known about the juicy details of their romantic lives. We bet you didn’t learn in history class that Millard Fillmore married his high school teacher, or that James Garfield once had two girlfriends and a fiancée—at the same time.

But now, J.D. and Kate Dobson reveal the presidents’ little known charms and unusual quirks in their hysterical book Hottest Heads of State (To buy: $17; amazon.com).

The book, based on the website of the same name, was created by husband and wife team J.D. and Kate Dobson. The duo were uniquely qualified to write a humor book about American history after J.D. worked as a U.S. Senate staffer and federal lobbyist while Kate spent her time as an assistant comics editor for the Washington Post.

Hottest Heads of State covers every president in United States history through romantic fun facts, strange personality traits and a cheeky ranking on their physical appearances. While some of the details are actually sweet, like that John Adams and his wife, Abigail, exchanged and saved over 1,000 hand-written letters, there are some critiques hidden in the text, like that Thomas Jefferson had children with his slave Sally Hemings.

In addition to presidential profiles, the book includes cheeky quizzes and activities such as Which President Has a Secret Crush on You? And Match the Mistress to Her POTUS.
