Hoang’s debut novel, which got months of buzz and more than 20,000 adds on Goodreads before it was published earlier this month, is a sweet, funny, and wholly original read that centers around Stella, a brilliant mathematician on the autism spectrum who hires a male escort named Michael to teach her about sex and dating. The Kiss Quotient is not only steamy and totally bingeable, but it also portrays autism in a real, sensitive way (Hoang herself was diagnosed as an adult).
