With a wedding date less than six months away, we can safely assume that Markle will be seeking out her dream dress ASAP, and we have some ideas about what that dress will look like.

Since she’s marrying a Brit, it’s possible that she will go the traditional royal route and wear a British designer’s gown. Caroline Castigliano, a designer to many celebrities and royals since 1991, is a top contender. Castigliano is known for creating understated classic designs that still allow women to show their personal style.

“I think Meghan will wear a gown that is classic yet sensual and stylish with a modern highlight,” says Castigliano, who has sketched out a dress that she could see Markle wearing.

The silk zibeline dress she has designed is exactly as she described with a modest boat neck, long sleeves and a low V back both crafted completely in sheer Chantilly lace. A full, structured skirt will complete her royal moment, according to Castigliano’s prediction.

“I think this gown would be showstopping. It would be a nod to the tradition that would be expected and required from the Royal household but would also show her personal sense of style,” added Castigliano.

Since her engagement outfit made such big waves—the white coat she was wearing has officially been re-named “the Meghan”—it’s a sure thing that her bridal gown will be major news as well, and we can’t wait to see what she ends up wearing.
