Kristen Bell continues to wow us with her smart, honest, and funny takes on life with her candid interviews, social media posts, and short videos. She recently got real about childbirth in her Momsplaining video series and now she’s tackling her appreciation for therapy in a new video for comedy site Funny or Die.

After hearing that her therapist, Jan Gray PhD (played by Community’s Yvette Nicole Brown), will be traveling for the next two weeks, Bell is prompted to sing a ballad about her. “You know me better than I know myself,” she croons. “Every time we talk, my tears well. I told you all about my weird sex dreams. My sweet therapist Jan Gray PhD.” In the video Bell is seen playing a piano while dressed in all white, having a picnic in the park with Jan, and singing in what looks like a nightclub.

Bell uses the whole video to practically worship her therapist, asking rhetorically if there’s anything Jan can’t do when she finds out she takes ceramics classes, and dreaming up Jan’s personal life, which includes a cozy cottage and a loving husband. She even admits to some social media stalking and wishing they were friends: “If I see you at Trader Joe’s I won’t say hi ‘cause I know you have your own life. I know we can’t be friends in real life, but sometimes I pretend in my mind.”

The video ends with Jan telling Bell, “It seems like this longing for my acceptance comes from the distance your father created during your formative years”—which pretty much proves the whole point of the video. Bell looks at the camera and says, “Damn that’s right on.”

The actress has always been honest in interviews about her struggles with anxiety and depression, and she’s also said that couples therapy is the secret to her marriage to Dax Shepard. “We have a very healthy marriage and we got there by doing therapy when we needed it, and constantly doing fierce moral inventories,” Bell told PEOPLE.
