Announcing your pregnancy to the whole world (or just friends and family) is an exciting moment. People have gotten very creative with how they share their baby news, especially on social media—from punny photos involving pets or big siblings with cute signs or shirts to fake movie posters.

Some celebs have caught onto the trend and have come up with some clever ways of announcing the news to their fans. Most recently, Jessica Alba shared her baby news in an Instagram post that showed her and her two daughters holding numbered balloons. Actress and The Honest Company co-founder shared that she was expecting her third child with her husband Cash Warren with the help of her two daughters, Honor and Haven.


The singer got the Beyhive (and pretty much the whole world) buzzing when she posted a photo from a maternity shoot announcing that she and husband Jay-Z were expecting twins. Currently, the photo has 11 million likes.

Lauren Conrad

The former reality star and fashion designer rang in 2017 by posting a sonogram photo to her Instagram on January 1st. She wrote, “I have a feeling 2017 is going to be the best year yet…”

Olivia Wilde

The actress included her son Otis in a sweet snap to announce her pregnancy in April 2016. She captioned it, “Matching baby bumps.”

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel

The singer used his birthday to confirm that he and wife Jessica Biel were expecting their first child. In the hashtags, he shared that they didn’t know if the baby was a boy or girl, but that “#wearetakingbets.”

Chrissy Teigen
