In the fall of 2018, Touchstone will publish a collection of autobiographical essays from actress Busy Philipps.

In a video posted to her Instagram account yesterday, Philipps expressed her excitement over being published for the first time. “I’m writing a book, for real,” she announces in the video. “I’m not allowed to say the title of it, but it’s a good title.”

According to a press release from Touchstone, the book will give readers a look into the parts of Philipps’ Life her Instagram followers know and love—an unfiltered and hysterical glimpse into her life as a wife, mom of two, and famous actress. The book will also include stories from her years as a kid growing up in Scottsdale, Arizona, through her “painful and painfully funny” teen years.

“Busy is a natural storyteller and her brilliant comedic instincts will translate seamlessly to the page,” Lauren Spiegel, senior editor at Touchstone, said in the release.

Philipps is known for her role as the rebellious Kim Kelly in the show Freaks and Geeks, as well as her roles in Dawson’s Creek and Cougar Town. She is also set to appear in the second season of Vice Principals on HBO, which premieres on September 17.

Along with the print version, the book will be released simultaneously as an audiobook.

“I’ve been waiting my whole life to write this book,” Philipps told her fans. “I’m just so grateful someone finally asked.”
