Amy Schumer can’t stop gushing about the first weeks of married life. The actress and comedian surprised the world by getting married to chef Chris Fischer the day before Valentine’s Day in a private Malibu ceremony attended by celebrity friends like Jennifer Lawrence, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Jennifer Aniston. Schumer posted the stunning wedding photos on her Instagram a few weeks ago, and she just shared more details about the ceremony and newlywed life when she called into her friend Nikki Glaser’s SiriusXM show, “You Up?”

She told Glaser that being called a wife is still a “novelty” for both her and her husband—and she’s been overusing the word lately. “Somebody went to sit next to him and he’s like, ‘My wife is sitting here,’ and I got back and he was exciting to tell me he said that.”

The newlywed also spilled the beans about the ceremony—which in true Amy Schumer fashion, was heartwarming, hilarious, and a little bit raunchy. According to Schumer, there were some sex jokes and heckling during the ceremony, and she thought her vows weren’t as great as her new husband’s. “Mine sucked. I wrote mine in 20 minutes, I was crying when I wrote them, but his blew me out of the water so hard.” Glaser, who attended the wedding, disagreed: “I have never been so moved… I remember a joke from yours, you go, ‘You make me laugh, you make me smile, you make me feel loved, you make me food.’”

Schumer also told Glaser that “it feels f-cking good” to be married, and shared a little bit about her whirlwind romance. “Part of the thing that’s good about us getting married so quickly was that we’re so in love,” she said. “Every girl I know, if they get proposed to they’re like, ‘Oh now? Now that I can’t have kids!’”
