3. Removable Chalkboard Wallies
Since moving into our new apartment, my boyfriend and I wanted to paint a chalkboard wall. These “Chalkboard Wallies,” were the perfect problem solver. Now we have a chalkboard space in our kitchen to write recipes or funny notes, and when we move out we, won’t have to go through the hassle of re-painting.

4. New Use: Rubber Band as Jar Opener
This was my favorite New Use of 2012 because it works so well and comes in handy all the time. Whether it’s a bottle of nail polish, jar of spaghetti sauce, or (most recently) an incredibly sticky and stubborn bottle of vanilla extract that I just couldn’t get a grip on, I haven’t had a problem opening it since learning this trick!
