Part of our ninth series of City Plates. The theme of this collection is "American Craft Cities." This collection celebrates a new generation of artists and creatives, the growing communities of DIYers, makers, and tinkerers that are collectively revitalizing their cities. This plate illustrates the proliferation of third-wave coffee roasters and breweries amidst the city's parks and theaters. It also highlights the location of Portland's Saturday Market and its craft district. Portland's metro area is one the fast growing populations in the country.
