"Seeking The Golden Mean" By Jane Johnson, Canvas Giclee Wall Art, 20"

Have you ever played a game and had to climb up to the next level? The stroke of red and square texture here, provides a bridge from one level to the next as you quest for your own pot of gold.Artist, Jane Johnson, creates process driven, mixed media paintings that are built, as much as painted. She starts with a loose layer of color in acrylic, adds texture, adds collage, draws into the work, and then repeats that process over and over again. Jane allows the layers, adds collage, draws into the work, and then repeats that process over and over again. Jane allows the layers to build and reveal images that direct her where to go with the painting. The images are either abstract, figurative or floral but they are all created in exactly the same process. When a painting is complete it has somewhere between 25 to 40 layers of paint, and collage. As the surface builds, she will take photos of the work, studying the value changes and also finding what story the canvas is trying to reveal. This gallery quality artist giclee print contains the vivid color and detail of the original work. Printed on fine art premium canvas with a hand brushed acrylic finish. Professionally hand stretched and gallery wrapped around a 1.5" deep, soft-edged pinewood frame. Arrives ready to hang out of the box! read more
