The One Sports Bra I Swear By
I wear a size DD cup and working out used to be the worst. (Flashback to running around the gym and feeling like my bust was actually going to hit me in the face.) Not only was the lack of support making me feel super self-conscious, it was also making me dread working out—and causing me physical pain.
When I wanted to get more serious about working out I knew that I would need to invest in a sports bra that could actually support my full bust. I was preparing to spend big bucks on the ideal sports bra, but on a whim I stopped into Old Navy. I've purchased lots of workout apparel from Old Navy, so I knew its activewear line was durable despite the ridiculously affordable prices. So, I decided to check out its sports bras and came across the High Support Racerback Sports Bra. I figured I'd give it a shot since it had about the same amount of padding as a typical bra I'd wear, and to my surprise—I loved it. I jumped up and down in the dressing room (hey, you've got to test the merchandise!) and it was amazing—my bust felt completely secure.
In comparison to other bras I've tried I give this one a 10/10. It's great for high-intensity workouts, which seem to be all I'm doing these days (sorry for the brag), thanks to its molded cups and double hook-and-eye closure that really secure my chest. Another favorite feature is the little bit of mesh that falls right in between my cleavage, because boob sweat is very real. While the mesh doesn't totally eliminate the sweat—that would take a miracle—it definitely increases breathability.
I can't praise this sports bra enough. I don't dread running and working out like I used to (I could go on and on about how much more comfortable I feel). I like it so much that I already own it in two colors (black and gray) and can honestly say this is the only sports bra I ever want to wear.
*My normal bra size is 34DD and I bought this bra in a 34D.
