Becky Blue Blueberry produces medium to large sweet light blue fruit. This particular variety flourishes in hot summer areas and has a upright spreading growth habit. In order to produce fruit you need to plant more than one variety for cross-pollination. When planting this shrub, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2-inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soiltive soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2-inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil.
