My Holy Grail Moisturizer: Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment
I've tried so many moisturizers throughout the years in search of the one perfect product that would hydrate without being greasy and smooth skin without clogging pores. Then the Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment came into my life. Even on my driest days, I've never looked back.
Though I have a naturally oily complexion, a combination of dry winter air and harsh acne topicals means I'm no stranger to tight, flaky skin. I received a jar of Glamglow Thirstymud last Christmas as part of a BOGO promotion with Glamglow's Supermud Activated Charcoal Treatment (another holy grail, but that's another story for another time). A full year later, and my jar is still going strong. If you're shying away at the cost, rest assured that the jar is incredibly long-lasting, which to me makes it worth the price.
I smooth a little Thirstymud on my skin and leave it on overnight—though it's technically a mask, I find I get the most benefit by sleeping in it. For particularly stubborn flaky spots, I'll dab a tiny bit of Vaseline on top. Without fail, I wake up the next morning with glowy, soft, perfectly hydrated skin. Makeup glides over my face without a rough patch in sight. People have literally stopped me on the street to ask what moisturizer I use.
With its luxurious, pudding-like texture, yummy coconut scent, and formula full of hyaluronic acid (an ingredient that binds moisture to skin), Thirstymud is truly my dry skin's winter savior.
