Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 (15-ouncecan pumpkin puree

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (1 1/2 sticks)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. Whisk flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, kosher salt, and baking powder in a large bowl.

  3. Whisk pumpkin puree, eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter in a medium bowl. Add pumpkin mixture to flour mixture; stir until just combined. Pour into a greased 9-by-5-in. loaf pan.

  4. Bake until bread is golden brown and baked through, about 1 hour, 10 minutes. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack. Store tightly wrapped at room temperature for up to 3 days.
