On sweltering days or even those times when you really don't want to be seen at the gym without makeup on, certain formulas will last, while others will seem to melt right off your face. We asked Connecticut based dermatologist and associate clinical processor of dermatology at Yale School of Medicine, Mona Gohara, for her thoughts on the subject. She recommends sticking with mineral powders as “they absorb oils while giving you great coverage.” She also says to avoid oil- or liquid-based makeup that could clog pores or sweat away.
