Madeleine got her start covering entertainment at the feminist BUST magazine but now freelances for Real Simple, Architectural Digest, World Wildlife, and assists on the international relations podcast Global Dispatches. Most recently, she was a TV/Movies Staff Writer at Elite Daily. Madeleine's home base is Manhattan, but she's currently taking a year for language study and freelancing in Paris, France. When she's not exploring Paris's indie movie theaters, or having long Parisian dinners, she also volunteers for the Prison Journalism Project, an organization dedicated to publishing the work of incarcerated writers. Experience Throughout university, Madeleine worked for fashion publications like i-D and Document Journal before finding her true passion of entertainment journalism at BUST magazine. Before her last year of studies, she was selected for the American Society of Magazine Editor's (ASME) national internship program. As one of 30 in the cohort, Madeleine was assigned to work for World Wildlife magazine, the editorial arm of international non-profit World Wildlife Fund. This work encouraged her to continue to pursue a wide range of journalism, from beauty to climate. While finishing her Master's degree, Madeleine was a TV/Movies Staff Writer at Elite Daily. She now regularly freelances for Real Simple, Architectural Digest, World Wildlife, and the international relations podcast Global Dispatches.
