Ever since we heard that a Trading Spaces reboot was in the works, we’ve been anxiously anticipating all of the details. So far, we’ve heard the good news that certain well-loved cast members will be returning for the remake—Genevieve Gorder, Ty Pennington, and Doug Wilson have all signed on—and now we finally have a premiere date. Oh, and a trailer full of sneak peeks.

Set your alarm: According to the adorable trailer shared on the Trading Spaces Facebook page, the new season will premiere on April 7, 2018 at 9 p.m. EST on TLC. What other secrets does the trailer reveal? While the original series, which aired from 2000 to 2008, gave each team just $1,000 to complete their total room transformations, the reboot has upped the budget to a much more reasonable $2,000 (thank you, inflation). As in the original series, the designers will still be able to request custom builds from the on-set carpenters to offset cost.

In addition to the returning cast and crew, the trailer gives us a glimpse at a few newbie designers we’re excited to meet. Will their signature styles be Joanna Gaines-inspired farmhouse chic or ultra-modern updates? We’ll have to tune in on April 7 to find out.

Until then, keep an eye on the show’s Facebook page, and don’t forget to follow the cast members on Instagram. Carpenter Ty Pennington, host Paige Davis, and others have been sharing some behind-the-scenes pictures.
