And you have to see these patterns.
Iris Apfel is a force to be reckoned with. At 96 years of age, she recently created her own personalized emoji line and designed some remarkably stylish wearable tech. Now, the designer and fashion icon is making her mark once again on the world of interior design with a new collection of furniture created in collaboration with Cloth & Company, sold exclusively on HSN starting today.
The new line of furniture is exactly what you’d expect from the fearless idol known for the unapologetic design philosophy: “more is more and less is a bore.” Maximalists rejoice—if you’re looking for a colorful patterned side chair or a boldly striped ottoman, this collection offers several of both. There’s also some seriously chic room dividers and eye-catching headboards that will help you dream a little bigger in your bedroom.
Apfel’s connection to interior design dates back to 1950, when she launched the textile firm Old World Weavers with her husband Carl Apfel. And since then, she has worked on the White House decor for nine different presidents. While she’s clearly no stranger to the interior design world, this is surprisingly her first furniture line. The new collection builds upon the success the designer has already seen with her clothing and accessories line on HSN, called Rara Avis, another term for “rare bird.”
“Iris Apfel’s whimsical approach to life, fashion and individuality continues to inspire our customers to express themselves through their own unique style,” says Carmen Bauza, chief merchandising officer for HSN in a statement. Feeling like your foyer could use a refresh or your bedroom could use some personality? Any piece from this collection will deliver style in spades.
