Some West Coast customers will be able to book TaskRabbit services right at the store.

In theory, assembling IKEA furniture is supposed to be a painless process, but in practice, we’re often left dazed and confused over the illustrated instructions, wishing we had someone to do the hard work for us. But since IKEA acquired TaskRabbit last year, that dream is about to become a reality.

The Swedish furniture company just announced that two West Coast stores in Emeryville and East Palo Alto, California, will be the first U.S. stores to have TaskRabbit available in-store. After customers check out, they will be able to book a Tasker right in the store so they can start enjoying their new furniture faster—and without the stress. Taskers will provide a quote for how much the service will cost so shoppers know what they’re getting themselves into.

Assembly starts at $30 an item, so while it might not be the most economical idea if you’re decorating an entire home with IKEA, it's great for a few key pieces. The service, which was first available in the U.K., is now available in those select California stores. And great news: a representative from TaskRabbit told Business Insider that the service will be rolling out nationwide in the coming months.

And if you don’t want to fork out the extra cash, you’re in luck: IKEA is starting to produce more easier-to-assemble pieces that fit together like a puzzle. The best part? Unlike regular IKEA furniture, you can take apart these pieces and reassemble them for years to come.
