Plus, it empowers women by creating jobs.

IKEA

IKEA has been on a roll recently by creating stunning, like-handmade items for a fraction of the cost. And in May, they’re launching an artisan collection called Innehållsrik, which is a limited edition collection co-created with skilled artisans in India.

The handcrafted line is made from natural materials and celebrates traditional handiwork with products like handwoven and hand embroidered blankets, towels, cushion covers, and banana-fiber baskets. Expect rich royal blue colors that will add the perfect pop of color to brighten up your space. The collection celebrates summer with a beachy vibe, complemented by patterned textiles inspired by India.

This gorgeous collection is just as affordable as you’d think. Cushion covers start at $12, cozy throws at $34, and practical baskets for $15. Rest assured, everyone will think these items are handmade when they walk in your home.

And the collection isn’t just stunning—it’s also part of a greater good. The collection is part of the IKEA Social Entrepreneurs Initiative, which creates jobs for women in the world where work is harder to find.

This collection drops in select stores this May, so make sure to stop by your neighborhood IKEA to see what’s in store—and to give your home an easy spring update that will make you feel like you’re on vacation.

*The collection will be available in these stores while supplies last: IKEA Elizabeth, IKEA Long Island, IKEA Woodbridge, IKEA Conshohocken, IKEA New Haven, IKEA Philadelphia, IKEA Paramus, IKEA College Park, IKEA Brooklyn, IKEA Centennial, IKEA Draper, IKEA Portland, IKEA West Sacramento, IKEA Emeryville, IKEA East Palo Alto, and IKEA Renton.
