Take a peek at the paint colors you'll soon be seeing everywhere.
As home experts, nothing excites us more than a new wave of paint colors every year. So when we heard that Sherwin-Williams just revealed its 10th Annual Colormix Color Forecast for 2019, we couldn't help but share this forecast that's jam packed with color inspiration. There's not just one shade, but 42 colors that they predict will be taking over our walls, furniture, and homes in 2019. With six color journeys—Shapeshifter, Wanderer, Aficionado, Enthusiast, Naturalist, and Raconteur—there's no shortage of color inspo for next year.
“Every color in the Color Forecast, whether alone or when combined with others, tells a different story, a different riddle or different song, similar to the honesty found only in a written journal,” says Sue Wadden, director of color marketing at Sherwin-Williams.
Check out the gorgeous shades here (bring them to life in your space with the ColorSnap Visualizer app), and take a peek at some room inspiration below. Happy painting!
If you're always experimenting with cutting-edge trends, this is the color family you'll gravitate toward. This palette is mystical and inspired by clean lines and geometry. Elation, a soft purple, is pictured in this room.
Call yourself daring and a maximalist? Then this color journey is for you. Free-spirited and full of attitude, you'll want to swipe on a coat of Argyle paint in your room, as pictured here.
Sticking to tradition, these colors stand the test of time. Your regal style is ultra-sophisticated, and this Charcoal Blue shade will bring that vision to life.
These earthy tones, including clays, caramels, and browns, will inspire wanderlust for the ultimate adventurer. Try Moth Wing, which will remind you of worn leather and woven blankets.
