Natalie Portman is on the move. The Academy Award-winning actress just purchased a stunning modern house in Montecito, California, a coastal town near Santa Barbara, for a cool $6.5 million. It was originally listed for $6.995 million.

The home, designed by architect Barton Myers, boasts enough room for Portman and her growing family—she and husband Benjamin Millepied welcomed their second child, Amalia, in February, who joins big brother Aleph. The family moved back to the Los Angeles area last year after spending two years in Paris.

The steel, glass, and concrete 3,991-square-foot house features four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms and sits on 10.4 acres. And it wouldn’t be a California coastal dwelling without some indoor-outdoor living space—this modern home has three large glass “garage doors” that open up the living room and kitchen to the spectacular ocean views. Outside there is a pool, plenty of garden space, and a patio area with an eye-catching outdoor fireplace.

Portman and her family already own a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, which is located about an hour and a half away from Montecito, so this modern estate might be her tranquil, seaside retreat for a little rest and relaxation.
