After selling her 1920s Mediterranean-style home in Los Feliz last year, actress and singer Mandy Moore has moved on and into a mid-century modern abode in Pasadena, California. Moore purchased the 3,551-square-foot hilltop house, located about 10 miles from downtown Los Angeles, for $2.56 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom house was designed by architect Harold B. Zook in 1950. It has all the trappings of mid-century modern style: clean lines and floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of light. Inside, there’s a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast nook, an office, family room, and a master bathroom with a big walk-in closet. The centerpiece of the open-plan living room is the period fireplace with a copper hood.

The house has 360-degree views of the San Gabriel Mountains and Pasadena. It’s also on a cul-de-sac, so Moore will have plenty of privacy. She’ll also be able to enjoy plenty of outdoor time—the home features lush greenery and patio space, including one terrace just off the breakfast nook and another in the backyard. Plus, there’s a large rectangular pool for outdoor entertaining.

The actress seems to be very eager to start the renovating process. She posted a photo on Instagram (see below) a few weeks ago with her interior designer Sarah Sherman Samuel and her architect Emily Farnham with the caption, “After an exhaustive search, I finally found a new place to live and I am beyond thrilled to turn it into a home with the help of these talented ladies.” We can’t wait to see what the space looks like when it’s finished.
