There’s nothing worse than getting home with a furniture haul, assembling all of it, and realizing nothing works in your space. Luckily, you can eliminate this problem in a snap by designing your space virtually with just the click of a few buttons on your phone or desktop. Below, five apps that let you design your space before you make the big purchase.

Modsy

Consider Modsy the dressing room of furniture shopping. Once you download the app, you’ll take a Style Quiz, write down what you’re trying to accomplish, upload a few pictures of the space you want to redesign (clutter and all), and Modsy will instantly create a 3D model of your space. Then, you can try out different products with multiple styling tools. Once you find what you like, you can buy products with exclusive discounts straight from the app.
