Anyone not residing under a rock or far, far away from all news sources knows that the British Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are almost parents. The baby is due in the spring of 2019, with guesses for the actual date centered around April. The baby could arrive any day now, then—and while Prince Harry and Meghan haven’t shared an inside look at their preparations, plenty of people are imagining what they’re up to as they prepare for their first child.

Some are suggesting what baby names the royal couple might choose, while others—like the design team at online interior design service Modsy—are imagining what the nursery might look like. The Modsy team put together renderings of potential nursery décor ideas based on Meghan and Harry’s styles and tastes, and they even offered shopping suggestions, so anyone seeking a little nursery inspo can bring the imagined looks home.

The Modsy team defines Meghan’s look as eclectic minimalist, and they imagine that a nursery she designed would be casual, carefully curated, and California-inspired, based on her upbringing there. The space plays with different neutrals, with wood tones and plenty of natural textures for warmth. The paint color, a warm white, is Imagine .06 by Colorhouse. The bold sofa, situated at the back of the room, offers some colorful contrast, plus a space for royal visitors to sit and relax.

Overall, the room—like Meghan’s tried-and-true messy bun—feels relaxed and put-together at the same time, with a touch of elegance that's still attainable and welcoming to little ones.

The Modsy team also imagined what the nursery might look like if Prince Harry got to pick the décor, and the result is wild, playful, and a little bolder than Meghan’s more refined imagined nursery. Leather, natural textures like rattan, and animal motifs incorporate a nature-friendly safari vibe.

In this nursery, there’s plenty of room to play and lots of toys scattered around. The color choices (the walls are painted Backwoods by Benjamin Moore) are a little unexpected for a nursery, but this room certainly leaves plenty of space for Baby Sussex to grow—and might be a good projection of what a future royal playroom will look like.
