Target’s New Holiday Shipping Policy Is a Total Game Changer
Target is making it easier to get everything from gifts to groceries and household basics home this holiday season.
Target may already be your highly convenient go-to for everything from fashion finds to home décor all year long, but around the holidays, the home of the red bullseye is an excellent resource for decorating, gift shopping, pantry-stocking, and more.
This year, Target is making all those holiday to-dos even easier with new delivery, shipping, and store pick-up options, including (for the first time) free two-day shipping with no minimum purchase and no membership (not even a REDcard) required.
That’s right: You can order gifts, holiday wreaths, and more from Target and get them shipped straight to your door, for free, in two days or less, without having to spend $35 or more, owning a certain card, or buying into an annual membership. This shipping special is available only for the holidays, though, from November 1 through December 22. (Last-minute online shoppers will have to fork over the full cost of speedy shipping—yet another reason to get ahead on that gift list.)
Target has also expanded its same-day home delivery and personal shopper service through Shipt, which is now available in 46 states, and grown its drive-up pick-up service to almost 1,000 stores across the country. And, for Target shoppers in Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., Target is offering same-day delivery of in-store purchases for a $7 flat fee. (No more lugging a whole cart’s worth of purchases home on the subway.)
With these new, expanded, or enhanced shopping options, shoppers have a little more flexibility in how they want to pick up all those holiday essentials, eliminating some of that holiday stress—and giving you more time to sit back and drink some eggnog.
