How to Make It
In a large microwave safe bowl, heat butter on high 30 seconds or until melted. Add marshmallows and toss to coat. Heat 1 minute and 30 seconds, stirring every 45 seconds, until marshmallows have melted and mixture is uniform. Stir in food coloring, followed by Rice Krispies cereal. Let cool until just warm to the touch, about 2 minutes.
Lightly spray a cookie sheet with oil. Flatten about 1 cup of the mixture into a disc 5-inches across. Mound candies in center of disc and wrap like a beggar’s purse, forming a ball. Decorate as desired. Store at room temperature in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.
