With the holiday season quickly approaching, we're eagerly anticipating this year's festivities—and, specifically, the seasonal food and drink. We can't wait to be gathered with friends, munching on cookies and sipping on eggnog. Now, even dairy-free party goers can join in on the wintertime tradition.

Trader Joe's, known for their creative seasonal offerings, has just released a vegan eggnog. It hit stores nationwide on Oct. 30th, and a 32 oz. container costs just $3. The vegan beverage is made with California almonds, which, when blended into almond milk, provide a rich creaminess that forms the eggnog's base. The milk is then flavored with nutmeg and ginger, and contains zero gluten, soy, dairy, eggs, or corn syrup.

It's not just vegans who should be excited about the new beverage. It's also a healthier alternative to traditional eggnog, making it an ideal option for anyone looking to cut back on cholesterol, calories, and saturated fat.

Based on the response to the Instagram account @traderjoeslist's post on the eggnog, it's going to be flying off store shelves. More than 12,500 Instagrammers have "liked" the post, and it's racked up more than 1,000 comments.
