Create a Platter Centerpiece
What You’ll Need
- A large serving platter with a raised lip
- Sharp scissors
- 6 to 8 peonies
- 7 to 10 gardenias
Also try with:
Dahlias, camellias, hydrangeas.
Pour an inch or so of water into the platter. Cut the stems off each flower, leaving no more than ¼ inch under the flower head.
Float the blooms on top of the water.
If you don’t have a platter, try floating a single bloom in multiple small bowls.
