DoubleTree Is Offering 12 Days of Free Cookies (and It's Not Just for Guests!)
It's almost like every day is National Cookie Day.
DoubleTree is giving the gift of free treats this holiday season. The hotel chain is hosting its 12 Days of Cookies celebration from December 13-24. During this time, guests and passersby alike are welcome to stop in and receive a complimentary cookie.
You can soothe your sweet tooth by approaching the concierge in any DoubleTree located in the U.S. If you've never tried a DoubleTree chocolate chip cookie, you're in for a sweet treat—one that's part of a long tradition. According to a press release, in the more than 30 years the hotel chain has welcomed guests with cookies, they've given out an estimated 384 million of them—and have only shared the “top secret” recipe with a few bakeries.
To celebrate the season, DoubleTree also worked with mixologists to update its pairings of the best cocktails and mocktails to complement the signature cookie. Coming In Hot Toddy!, Peppermint Passport and Coco for Cocoa are just a few of the non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages imagined for this guide.
Can’t make it to the concierge? DoubleTree’s 12 Days of Cookie Selfies social media contest asks participants to take a photo of themselves or a friend in festive holiday attire. On Monday, DoubleTree shared a graphic that said, “Show us your best holiday sweater for a chance to win!” to promote the 12 Days of Cookie Selfies social media contest. After sharing on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtags #sweetwelcome and #contest, two winners will be selected to receive two free night stays in 2018. Ten runners up will also get their hands on Holiday Cookie Tins.
More information about the promotion and contest is available here.
