Everything’s Half-Off at Lucy Activewear’s Goodbye Sale
The workout gear brand is joining forces with The North Face in 2018.
Making an effort to get back to the gym in 2018? Well, it’s possible to treat yourself to some new motivating duds without having to cut into your membership funds. Seriously. Lucy, the women’s activewear brand, is closing its own stores and folding into The North Face in February—but before that happens, they’re rewarding customers with a “Goodbyes and Good Buys” sale that grants 50 percent off everything—including already marked down items—plus free ground shipping.
If you’re a deal-conscious shopper, you’ve probably shied away from splurging at Lucy in the past. Prices on their athleisure items started at $50 for tops and hovered around $80+ for leggings. But now with the additional discount, you can score these high-quality gym clothes (think compression leggings with moisture-wicking fabric and flattering seams) for the prices you’d pay for lesser quality, stock-up items.

Now a couple of caveats: the selection slims down every day and everything’s final sale. At time of writing, the site lists that there are more than 120 styles available in sizes XS to XL, but you have to click around to see what’s actually still in stock. Don’t want to spend time clicking around? Here are a handful of items with a healthy stock in a variety of sizes. The asymmetric “Give Me Om” top comes in six colors and has most sizes still available. It’s already marked down from its original price of $65 to $35, but with the additional 50 percent off, that means the final price you’ll pay is only $17.50. For those looking for a good pair of standard black leggings, the pickings are slim. However if you’re up for a fun and flirty pair, the “Light and Free Legging,” featuring feminine ankle ties and cheeky mesh, are still available to purchase in black in all sizes. Score them for $47.50, half off of their original $95 selling price. Looking for a sharp warm-up and cool-down jacket? The “No Excuses Knit Jacket” is still available in all sizes in the firework-black print for $49.
Fall in love with an item and afraid you won’t be able to repurchase? Don’t worry, some items like the “Om Bra” and “Perfect Core Legging” will still be available after the brand merges with The North Face. A handful of others will be sold as a The North Face product at select retailers. For example, the “Final Rep Tank” will be sold at Dick’s Sporting Goods, Dillard’s, and Scheels in 2018.
