Hannah Dorough

Hannah Dorough, indigenously Inupiaq, was raised in Alaska, where she graduated with honors from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a bachelor’s in English and a minor in economics. She also holds a master’s in creative writing from the University of Birmingham, UK, having graduated with distinction. Hannah is currently the assistant editor at Real Simple. She previously worked as an editorial assistant at Martha Stewart Living and as an editing intern at the Alaska Dispatch News, a statewide newspaper. She is passionate about indigenous rights, owning ten slightly different shades of red lipstick, and reviewing blockbuster movies.
