Channel your inner Audrey Hepburn and head over to Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York City, because The Blue Box Café is now open. And not just for breakfast. You can have lunch and afternoon tea there, too. Overlooking Central Park, it’s practically as if you’re living and breathing the Tiffany Blue.
Located on the newly renovated fourth floor of the flagship location, it’s a strikingly beautiful dining room. The Blue Box Café is serving American classics made with regionally sourced ingredients and true to the nature of Tiffany’s, the highest quality ingredients. The menu looks irresistible. For breakfast, some standouts are the truffle eggs and the must-have on every NYC menu, avocado toast. Lunch can be deliciously simple or decadent with black bass crudo, an all-natural chicken club sandwich, or a Maine lobster salad. Personally, I’m most excited for teatime, with its whimsical selection of finger sandwiches like Cucumber Goat Cheese or Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese, sweets such as Tiffany’s Bird Nest and Blue Box Petit Fours, and a selection of teas by Bellocq. The fourth floor is also home to Tiffany’s new luxury Home & Accessories collection. “The space is experimental and experiential—a window into the new Tiffany,” said Reed Krakoff, chief artistic officer in a statement.
The café will be open during regular store hours. Breakfast at Tiffany’s is now actually possible.
