The famous fall drink is coming back soon.

We know that fall is around the corner, especially after it was announced that the mix used to make Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte—or as we call it, the PSL—has already been delivered to stores across the country. But even though the mix is there, employees aren’t authorized to sell the beloved drink until September 5th.

“It’s coming. God help us all,” reddit user AppKerman posted, along with a picture of the Pumpkin Spice flavored sauce.

As a retired barista myself, I know how stressful this time of the year is for Starbucks employees. As soon as the first cool day hits, people flock to get their fix of the hot seasonal drink. And as soon as this anonymous employee started the reddit thread, other baristas chimed in, creating a sort of impromptu support group about the impending PSL craze. Together, they vented about picky customers, incompetent managers, and inefficient workflows.

One barista admitted that they'd take the PSL craziness any day after experiencing the chaos that was the Unicorn Frappucino, a pink-colored drink that was available for a limited time earlier this summer.

Some even offered comfort to distressed coworkers.

Other baristas defended the customers, supporting their appreciation for something so simple in life.

And others on the thread speculated about other fall drinks Starbucks might release this year as part of their autumn lineup. Maple Pecan, Chestnut Praline, and Gingerbread (a popular flavor from past years) were among the possible flavors discussed.

For those of you who can't wait a few more weeks to get your PSL fix, McDonald's has already started selling their version of the drink.
