Is it time to move to Canada?
Nothing says summer quite like ice cream cones and cocktails. And Häagen-Dazs just brought them together. The only catch? They’re only available in Canada.
Häagen-Dazs Canada just rolled out their Spirits line, which features five pints inspired by decadent desserts and premium alcohol. Irish Cream Coffee and Biscotti, Rum Ginger Cookie, Vodka Key Lime Pie, Whiskey Chocolate Truffle, and Rum Vanilla Caramel Blondie are all available for purchase at Walmart locations in Canada. They are currently selling for $5.98 on Walmart Canada’s website.
The Häagen-Dazs website touts that all pints are made with 100 percent Canadian dairy and “carefully crafted” in Canada.
Irish Cream Coffee and Biscotti is made of Irish cream-flavored ice cream with coffee ripple and pieces of biscotti. Rum Ginger Cookie has a rum-infused ginger ice cream base and is packed with ginger cookie pieces. The Vodka Key Lime Pie flavor features vodka-infused key lime ice cream and graham cracker ripple. Whiskey Chocolate Truffle has whiskey-infused chocolate and white mousse ice cream and truffle bites. And Rum Vanilla Caramel Blondie is rum-infused vanilla ice cream loaded with blondie pieces and caramel ripple.
Candy Hunting, a popular food trends Instagram account, posted a photo of the pints on the shelf.
“I finally was able to snag these Häagen-Dazs Spirits pints during my trip to Canada! Hopefully they extend the line beyond Canada soon,” the user shared.
"We in the U.S. are watching the enthusiastic response from Canadian consumers with great interest!" Roz O'Hearn, corporate and brand affairs director at Nestlé USA, tells Real Simple. "Gaining this insight will help us with our future decisions for this market."

News of these boozy pints comes just days after the company’s release of four new non-dairy flavors. U.S. residents can get their hands on Chocolate Salted Fudge Truffle, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Mocha Chocolate Cookie and Coconut Caramel. The pints are available exclusively at Target beginning this month, and will be rolling out to other retailers nationwide next year.
