Hard work, but someone had to do it.

At the risk of sounding immodest, I’m somewhat of a snack connoisseur. Due to my propensity to go grocery shopping while hungry, I seem to always walk out with a few extra items to devour in the car ride home. Luckily, my store of choice—the beloved-by-many Trader Joe’s—has no shortage of snack options to choose from. And while there is a time and a place for our favorite unhealthy snack choices, sometimes you just want something to munch on that scratches that snacky itch, without weighing you down or derailing your fitness or health goals.

Of course, you can always opt for TJ’s large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables for a healthy snack, but when you want something a little more, the popular grocery has you covered. In fact, the options are practically endless from seasoned nuts, dips and spreads, and chip varieties. We narrowed the choices down to the 10 best healthy snacks you can find at Trader Joe’s.

Garlic and Onion Pistachios

These salty, tangy pistachios are the perfectly satisfying replacement for chips, crackers, and other munchies. In addition to being delicious, they’re  packed with protein and fiber, and the shells will help slow down your snacking so that you have a chance to feel yourself getting full and avoid that post-snack session coma.

Organic Carrots of Many Colors

These freeze-dried rainbow carrots are made up of two ingredients: carrots and sea salt. They’re the perfect colorful, crunchy snack to munch on their own, dip into one of TJ’s many varieties of hummus or tzatziki, or even sprinkle on top of salads for that crouton-y texture, but healthier.

Freeze Dried Berry Medley

A mix of organic blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries are freeze dried to retain flavor, with nothing else added. They are just the right amount of sweet to beat that afternoon energy slump, or a great addition to a bowl of Greek yogurt (or ice cream, if you feel so inclined).

Bazaar Basket Snack Mix

We all know that trail mix can make for a nutritious and filling road trip, hiking, or workday snack option, but sometimes the standard options can start to get a bit boring. This Middle Eastern-inspired mix combines almonds with apricots, pistachios, sour cherries, and chickpeas for a perfectly balanced mix of sweet, savory, and tangy.

Everything But the Gluten Crackers

Different from your typical cracker, these crispbreads are made in the Norweigan style—meaning they’re thin, crunchy, and make the ideal vehicle for dips, spreads, and cheese. Made with a blend of quinoa, oats, and corn, they also happen to be naturally gluten free without any weird additives.

Tortilla Chips Seasoned With Brussels Sprouts, Garlic, Onion & Parsley

Is it even possible for something that sounds so healthy to be so delicious? These tortilla chips prove the answer to that question is a resounding yes. The veggie blend adds a distinct, umami seasoning to these thick, well-textured chips.

Reduced Guilt Spinach and Kale Greek Yogurt Dip

Need something to pair with those healthy crackers and chips? This thick and creamy dip is almost too good to be true, swapping out heavy cream with better-for-you Greek yogurt in this classic party favorite.

Ranch Seasoned Crispy Chickpeas

I’ve tried making roasted chickpeas at home, but they somehow never get the truly satisfying crunch that I’m looking for. This grab-and-go option saves me from having to turn my oven on and provides that perfect healthy, savory, and crispy snack. They’re amazing alone or as a salad topper.

Peanut Butter & Jelly Frooze Balls

Newly launched this August at Trader Joe’s across the country, Frooze Balls are plant-based energy balls made with ingredients like dates, peanuts, and strawberry puree. They’re the perfect poppers to pack along in your tote to avoid getting hangry.

Thai Lime & Chili Cashews

TJ’s incredible nut selection wins again with these incredibly flavorful cashews. Dried makrut lime leaves plus a touch of chili and salt make for an intense (in a good way) coating. Be warned: these are hard to put down, so you might want to stock up on multiple bags.
