Trader Joe’s nails flavor trends and solutions to kitchen conundrums so well that almost every one of the grocery store's new products ends up with a well-deserved cult-following. A prime example? Everything But the Bagel Seasoning has nearly 46,000 posts about it on Instagram, and it’s become a must-have grocery item for endless TJ’s fans. A couple months ago, they followed suit by introducing a smoked salmon version of the spice, and needless to say, the crowds went wild.

But this week, Trader Joe’s reached new heights. We’re officially not worthy.

You know that trick you’ve been doing with your Everything but the Bagel Seasoning where you stir a heaping spoonful into Greek yogurt or sour cream and then proceed to dip everything but your own hand (okay, just that one time!) into it?

We no longer have to do that. Trader Joe’s officially has its own Everything but the Bagel Dip. And it’s good.

The EBTB dip is a combination of Greek yogurt, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried garlic, onions, and sea salt. It’s creamy, salty, and pretty much the perfect thing for topping pita chips, crudité, crackers, even bagels (if they have the smoked salmon too, even better).

What makes Trader Joe's products such a success is that they're often able to breathe new life into quick-to-cook dishes that are prone to getting tired. This one is no exception: you can expect this dip to be a must-have menu item at every brunch and breakfast gathering we attend from here on out. Who could imagine entertaining without it?

If you need one more reason to make a mad dash to TJ’s right now, listen up: it’s actually pretty healthy. The Everything but the Bagel dip has just 60 calories per serving, two grams of carbs, 0 grams of added sugar, and one gram of protein.

Of everything we’ve tried pairing with the Everything but the Bagel dip, one of the top tasty contenders is crepes. Instead of coating them with maple syrup or Nutella, try a savory version: dollop some EBTB Dip on top of your pancakes and add some fresh dill. Very Scandinavian-chic, if we do say so ourselves.
