Pringles' New Thanksgiving Flavors Are So Good, They Sold Out in 41 Minutes
Here's how you can get your hands on some of Pringles' new Thanksgiving flavors–if you're into Thanksgiving chips, that is.
We simply can’t stop obsessing over holiday foods. Be it Whole Foods' new peppermint whipped cream or Costco’s massive cookie cake, people just need to get their hands on the latest and greatest holiday foodstuff. And that goes double for Pringles.
The masters of potato chips over at Pringles launched some new Thanksgiving chips last week. And, to the surprise of many, new flavors like Stuffing in a Can, Turkey in a Can, and Pumpkin Pie in a Can sold out fast. Like really, really, fast. As in, these weird chip flavors sold out in less than an hour.
“The three-pack stackable mini cans went on sale Tuesday at 11:59 pm at the kellogsstore.com and cost $14.99. At 12:40 a.m., they were gone,” the Detroit Free Press reported.
If you're still determined to get your limited edition Thanksgiving Pringles fix, there may still be one way. The Takeout notes many of the buyers from Tuesday’s sale have already posted their stackable Pringles cans on eBay. Some of those sets are going for as much as $150 a pop, which seems, let’s face it, unreasonable for some probably weird tasting chips.
But, if you’re going to go the eBay route, you may want to wait. According to the Detroit Free Press, Renee Mailhoit, media supervisor at Edelman Chicago, said Pringles will be hosting its own auction on eBay for Giving Tuesday with the Thanksgiving Pringles. Though details were not immediately available on the sale, at least this way you’ll know your chip money is going to an excellent cause.
This isn’t the first time Pringles has caused a Thanksgiving-themed frenzy. In 2017, the company also released some holiday flavors, which came with their own TV dinner tray. Those flavors included mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and cranberry sauce-flavored chips. Hopefully, someone saved their chips from last year so now they can have a complete Pringles Thanksgiving meal.
