We're Losing It Over The New Boozy Popsicles Just Spotted At Costco

They're basically adult versions of Fla-Vor-Ice, and we're here for it.

Last month, we declared that orange wine was going to rise in the ranks of the top trendy summertime drinks, and it looks like Costco officially agrees.

Just in time for Memorial Day weekend, the wholesale grocery giant is releasing brand new boozy popsicles from Claffey's Frozen Cocktails. Each ice pop is made from orange wine, which stands out next to the competitors made out of vodka, gin, and malt liquor. They come in six flavors: Ice Blue, Cherry Lips, Punk Lemonade, Modern Mango, Purple Party, and Grab Apple. Each popsicle has 90 calories, 12 to 14 grams of sugar, and a 6% ABV—which is about the same as beer, just in a much smaller serving size (you'd have to eat several to feel anything).

The Claffey's spiked popsicles were spotted by The Costco Connoiseeur who immediately shared the discovery on Instagram:

So if you're looking to beat the summer heat and feel a bit of a buzz, you're in luck. Though the boozy pops have only been seen in Washington D.C. so far, we're keeping our fingers crossed for nationwide availability. If you can't wait, don't worry: you can purchase Claffey's alcoholic ice pops on their website. A pack of 12 retails for $18.

Another option? Make your own spiked sweets! We've got an easy recipe for boozy popsicles here.
