Trader Joe’s is taking the term “caffeine buzz” to an entirely new level, with its Electric Buzz Coffee Cups. They pack in 170mg of caffeine, whereas an 8-ounce cup of coffee contains 95mg of caffeine. That means this new single-serve cup contains almost twice as much caffeine as your average cup of joe, which sounds pretty enticing for Monday mornings, a day packed with meetings, or a weekend filled with errands.

The cups, which are meant to be used with a Keurig coffee maker, are sold in a 12-pack for $5.49. The coffee beans used are a blend of India AA Robusta (known for its high caffeine levels) and Brazilian Aribica, which is described as having nutty, chocolate-like notes. A cup of this coffee is beginning to sound far tastier than any energy shot or drink.

Our one qualm? K-Cups, due to their individual packaging, generate a lot of plastic waste. If you’re looking for that extra jolt of energy in the morning, opt for bags of whole or ground beans known for having high caffeine levels and brew them yourself. In fact, we’ve done all the testing for you and selected the best drip, French press, and pour over coffee makers.
