We can totally relate.
Soon-to-be-princesses: they’re just like us. Well, they share our nostalgia for the foods we ate as kids, at least. In an interview with Athena Calderone, creator of the blog Eyeswoon and author of the newly-released cookbook Cook Beautiful, Markle shared the three foods she secretly loves to eat. In no particular order, she answered French fries, macaroni and cheese, and tater tots. (Our list looks pretty much identical).
Specifically, Markle has a soft spot for Annie’s Organic Macaroni and Cheese—she adds frozen peas to it for a “gooey simple childlike meal.” She says she always enjoyed eating it when she made it for the children she babysat because it made her feel like a kid.
When it comes to tater tots, Markle doesn’t simply eat them plain. She ups the ante on the classic cafeteria dish by adding ketchup and sriracha. We’re totally digging the idea of spicy tots (and aren't above making a breakfast casserole out of them, either).

Markle, rightfully so, also says she has no shame in her love for French fries. But aside from these nostalgic favorites, Markle follows a mostly healthy diet, complete with acai bowls, green juices, chopped salads, and grilled fish tacos. And, of course, roasted chicken.
