We Tried Reese’s New “Outrageous” Bars—And They’re As Good As They Sound
Each one is stufffed with Reese's Pieces.
There are few treats better than the classic Reese’s cup, which is why we were both excited and skeptical when we heard Reese’s was launching a new candy bar. On one hand, we couldn’t wait to get our hands on it. But on the other hand, why mess with perfection?
As it turns out, we had nothing to worry about. The new Reese’s Outrageous Bar is truly spectacular—as in, we wouldn’t be mad if it’s the only candy we ate on Halloween this year. Similar to a Reese’s cup, the milk chocolate-dipped bars have a creamy peanut butter center. But in this candy, the peanut butter is surrounded by a ripple of gooey caramel and a handful of colorful Reese’s Pieces. Every bite is creamy, crunchy, salty, and sweet—everything we crave in a candy bar. The bars are made with grooves that let you break pieces off, but we’re willing to bet you won’t want to share it.

We know we're not alone in our love for Reese's, based on the popularity of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup creamer, and the viral Krispy Kreme Reese's Peanut Butter Cup donut. Unfortunately, the bars aren’t available for purchase until May 2018. Until then, we have a few recipes that will satisfy your sweet tooth, including a Trick-or-Treat Tart (essentially a giant homemade peanut butter cup), and Peanut Butter Cup Cookies.
