Though the Internet had a collective freakout over M&M’s new Vanilla Cupcake flavor, there’s another Easter flavor that we’re even more excited about. Introducing Peanut Butter Speckled Eggs—they’re downright addictive.
Are they widely different from regular Peanut Butter M&M’s? No. But why mess with perfection? With the peanut butter filling, the milk chocolate coating, and the crispy outer shell, Peanut Butter M&M’s are the perfect balance of crunchy and creamy. Plus, because they’re plumper than a classic M&M, you’re more likely to enjoy them slowly and thoughtfully, as opposed to gobbling up the whole bag by the handful. To give them seasonal flair, the Easter M&M’s are egg-shaped, and come in an assortment of speckled pastel colors (to resemble real bird’s eggs).
Technically, the flavor isn’t new for 2017. However, the 1.3-ounce bags were so popular in 2016 that the brand introduced a new “sharing size” for 2017. That’s right—you can buy these babies in 2.83-oz bags (and the sharing part is entirely up to you). Each bag is $1.50, and they’re available online and at retailers nationwide.
