Whether you're nibbling on it for lunch or making a quick, healthy dinner, this bowl is a great, protein-packed meal in one dish. Goat cheese on top offers a wonderfully tangy taste, and the avocado offers the superfood benefits you've come to know and love. With only four ingredients, it's an easy staple.


  • 1/2 avocado

  • 3/4 cup cooked black beans

  • 1 tablespoon crumbled goat cheese

  • salsa


  1. Warm the black beans (in the microwave or on the stovetop). Dice the avocado.

  2. Transfer the beans to a bowl. Scatter diced avocado on top of warm black beans. Garnish with crumbled goat cheese and season with salsa, salt, and pepper.
