Le Creuset's New Fall-Inspired Shade Is Unexpected in the Best Way
Leave it to Le Creuset to ring in autumn this beautifully.
While we’re still mourning the loss of summer, celebrated French cookware company Le Creuset is making it that much easier to embrace all things autumn. After a year of impressive color collaborations, the beloved brand has done it again with a brand new shade of enamel—but this time, Le Creuset unveiled a fall-inspired hue that strays from the company's signature punchy shades. (We’re looking at you, ombré and indigo.)
Morel—Le Creuset’s latest color—is a cozy shade that marries bronze and chocolate. It's a color evocative of a hot cup of seasonal soup or your favorite fall sweater. “The color was inspired by a variety of mushroom beloved by chefs,” the brand said in a press release. “It pairs the earthy tones of the forest floor with warm bronze accents.”
And while morel certainly isn’t as vibrant as, say, Le Creuset’s pastel Sorbet Collection, we’re especially obsessed with the earthy hue for its practicality. A basic neutral that’s anything but boring? Sign us up.
Sold exclusively at Sur La Table, the new color is available on select Le Creuset items, including the 2.5-quart multifunction pan, 3.5-quart buffet casserole with glass lid, and the signature 5.5-quart round Dutch oven. So, if you’ve had your eye on a new addition to your existing cookware collection, now’s the time to secure a new kitchen essential while the color is still in stock.
